Our christmass tree is lighted on this first Advent 2008 in Aasiaat, situated in the Disko Bay. Notice how small the tree is compared to Nuuk. Very fine weather today. Today is the first day without sun until 13th january 2009.

The music, The Seventh House, is from my CD The Journey. The stills are from my trips on board the MS Polarstar to Greenland and Spitzbergen. The ship was hired by yhe University of Copenhagen and the Norwegian Polar Institute. No polar bears were killed :-)
