Dec 2, 2008 - yup people buy gold ore to get their smithing up, once they smelt the ores to bars they can be smithed with a mould to make jewelry. :) i found that gold ore sells fairly well, and the price has also raised to 550gp each :) longest wait ive had for gold to sell is about a hour
