Dec 2, 2008 - Thank you sooo much for the info and other forms.I'll see if im getting power to the starter as soon as I get my tester from my brothers house.This is the first problem ever with the bike and with it only having a little over 3,000 oem miles with no rebuilds it kills me to have to take it apart and makes me sick everytime I go out to work on it cause I dont want to scratch anything.

Dec 2, 2008 - Sounds like a bad solenoid. Is it possible to check to see if 12V is getting to the starter motor itself? There's a lot of other on line forums for HD. Harley Tech Talk, Vtwinforum, Hdforum, etc... No shortage of info out there.
