This is a film about my son and I and some of the things we saw and during his visit.First we went to Las Vegas as Wade had never been, we did it all, the shows the gambling the sights and of course the food. Have Wade tell you about our dinner at Le Cirque. I also took Wade to Casa Grande, Az where yes he jumped out of a perfectly good airplane. I decided there was no reason for him to wait till he was 52 like I did. It was a great day and one that neither of us will forget. From here Wade leaves for Hong Kong on his birthday August 20, 2008 and there he will back pack China, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Being I was in College at the end of the Viet Nam War those places are a dark spot in my memory. I hope today it is safe there for Wade's sake but being his Dad no matter where he travels I will be concerned.After the backpacking he travels to Sydney Australia where he lives for a year. Oh what fun and exciting it is to be young and at the beginning of life. I know Wade's life will be special just because he is the kind of guy that is very special to me and all of his friends and family.Watch the video and enjoy and if you are lucky you will shed some tears like I did. I just can't believe he will be that far away for over a year. My plan is to visit him in Sydney for Christmas as everyone should be with family that special time of the year.
