Queensland's former premier and self confessed 'media-tart' Peter Beattie has retired, but planned to have more than just a snack before his final exit. Feasting from the enslavement of others, Beattie is unremorseful and offers only pittance to those who worked their hands to the bone. Will the replacement he had nurtured and suckled prove to be worth her salt? Currently the funds have been shimmied away for further gorging, it looks to be a case of the apple not falling far from the tree with this deputy. How long must the wait for justice continue?
