Dec 2, 2008 - If you get the Singtel Singapore one it is automatic just put your Maxis sim in there. But you must set network APN: unet Username: maxis Password:wap to get 3g

Dec 2, 2008 - hey man, i got an unlocked iphone from nz. i can use it with my maxis sim card for call n text but i cant get 3g working or edge. from what i read i just need to set the APN network to (user: maxis , pw: wap)and it should work? do i need a program to do this? thanks heaps.

Dec 2, 2008 - Hi... Because on 2.1 software on Maxis in Malaysia, with Singapore iPhone 3G, there seems to be an issue with ... as I suspect, DNS resolution in Safari when using 3G only and no WiFi. After downgrading, things back to normal.

Dec 2, 2008 - For Taiwan, the easiest is get it from Singapore, make sure it is genuinely from Singtel. Then it is fully unlocked you can use it in Taiwan... The only thing is that you may have to downgrade to 2.0.2 ... Don't get the USA one, it is still fully locked and hence more or less useless outside the USA for now.
