House Culture: Shiny Smoochum with Radar (AT A CHAIN OF 2!!!) Videos

The record is broken, the record is broken.My previous personal lowest-chain shiny was at 3, with Gastrodon.It stands no more.I was chaining Sneasel last night and it was broken by a Smoochum. At first I cussed but then, like say the Grinch or Wile E. Coyote, got the grandest of ideas to get yet another Ice shiny Pokemon to add to my collection. It would go well with my soon to be Abomasnow and Weavile on my Hail team (which is flipside to my Sandstorm team).So, I had to do some work. I traded my only Timid Synchro Abra to Pearl to get those Misdreavus, and I didn't feel like trading it back. So I used FR (Pokemon FireRed) and it's Game Corner. It's arguably the easiest way to get Synchronizers. Within a few resets I had my Timid one and also got another Impish one to use later, in case Makuhita Swarms on Pearl before Diamond.So, I transferred it, caught it in Pal Park, flew back to Snowpoint City, and went back to Lake Acuity and started chaining...1... 2...And then shiny patch.And only like.... 2 patches came up on it too. The shiny one and another, I think it was a Uncommon/Rare.So, I walked over and did what I always do. Swap Breloom with Lucario, turn on Battle Effects for your pleasure, crank up the volume and give it a shot.I never knew it'd be such a nervous pain in the ass to catch.Since I lost a shiny Sneasel due to my Breloom's Effect Spore's Poison, I was afraid to False Swipe it fearing the same fate.I Spore'd it, and decided to use an Ultra Ball.And thus the battle begins. I just checked, and it's Catch Rate is 45. No wonder it gave me such a hard time.I was just waiting for it to say "It was Poisoned due to Breloom's Effect Spore!". So I couldn't take it anymore. I Spore'd it and swapped in Empoleon, whom is with me solely for the fact that I needed to SURF.I use one last Ultra Ball and catch it, and then check out the stats with you. =)It's Timid, yay!I'm going to make me a Poison Heal Breloom as soon as my Ice-Capades are over. Which will be when I finish Sneasel.Shiny Smoochum doesn't look much different than it's normal counterpart. Shiny Jynx looks different from normal Jynx. It's lighter, has almost-white shiny hair, it's dress is sorta pink, and it's a lighter purple than the other. Which, the other used to be black instead of purple, but they changed it because they thought people would claim it was racist or something............Yeah, weird.Anyway, Smoochum makes the 28th different specie of shiny that I have. 30 is almost here. 30, is the hour of Gligar.I hope this gives people inspiration to keep trying if they keep failing. You'll eventually get whatever one you want shiny. Who knows, it just might be right around the corner.....GROOVY!
