The tendency in Africa for nations to become independent, and at the same time to do justice to all, means not only being just to the black man of Africa, but also to be just to the White man of Africa.We call ourselves Europeans. But actually, we represent the White men of Africa. They are the people, not only in the Union, but throughout major portions of Africa, who brought civilization here who made the present developments of Black Nationalism possible, by bringing them education, by showing them this way of life. By bringing in industry and development. By bringing in the ideals which Western civilization developed itself. When the White man came to Africa, perhaps to trade in some cases, perhaps to bring the gospel, has remained to stay. And particularly we, in this Southern-most portion of Africa, have such a stake here that this is our only motherland. We have nowhere else to go. We settled a country bare. And the Bantu came in this country and settled certain portions for themselves. And it is in lying with the thinking of Africa to grant those fullest rights which we also with you admit all people should have, we believe in providing those rights for those people to the fullest degree in that part of Southern Africa which their forefathers found for themselves and settled in. But similarly, we believe in balance. We believe in allowing exactly those same full opportunities to remain within the grasp of the White man who has made all this possible.

Nov 19, 2008 - If this was true then the aliens should move in and develop Earth. Thanks for any help but the land is ours, not yours. You cannot move onto land that is occupied by the owners. In North America the whites slaughtered 60 million Indians, in the worst genocide ever wrought on the face of the Earth. Being primitve does not make me undeserving of my land. I reserve the right to ask you to leave, at anytime. If you really cared about me, then you would leave my land because it is decency driven.

Nov 19, 2008 - Actually the Whites gave blacks plenty of land thousands of square miles of land called "the townships". They had excellent farmland, right to self govt. They got exactly what they always had in South Africa.."the land". But it wasnt enough they didnt want the land, they wanted Whitey's car and his money and everything else that Whitey built. Then they got that too, liberals helped them steal it. And now thanks to liberal "ideals" its all been destroyed.

Nov 19, 2008 - This is all true, but I have to add that the blacks' desire for "Whitey's" stuff was put into their heads by the Communists who were looking to take over Africa so its natural resources could be used by USSR and China. A "Hot War" raged during the Cold War during the 60's, 70's and 80's. It's reshaped itself after the fall of the Soviet Union but it's still the same battle under different names now, and the goals are still the same: Africa's natural resources for China and Russia.

Nov 19, 2008 - Communism has a deep attaction for blacks. You see communism is built on a psychotic need for everything being "equal". The lowest common denominator is what judges everyone. No one is smarter, more talented, more energetic...and anyone who is must be brought down. Black naturally love this.Never assume blacks want an "equal chance" to achieve. They know they can never compete.

Google Martin Luther King Jr and Highlander Folk School you'll see the whole Civil Rights Movement was a Communist plot to destroy America and the West from within.

Nov 19, 2008 - Verwoerd was NOT President of South Africa. He was Prime Minister of South Africa. Although the Republic of South Africa was formed under his government in 1961, the State President was a figurehead post until 1984 when the Prime Minister and Presidential positions were merged into one.
