Nov 19, 2008 - this is a very corrupt,,, sliced and diced...so to speak...rendition showing only what you meant to show. and It is untrue. the scene of the movie was only showing Nephi's brothers protecting him against "muggers".We, of the LDS faith do not perform "secret rituals" especially ones of harm to self or others. They are instead Sacred, and are done with Reverence that is why they are not so outspoken. Know the truth and stop patchworking lies. Fear comes from ignorance..Knowledge is Power. Read.

It takes 10 seconds out of a 2 hour long movie and then says that it represent what happens in all of the LDS temples. thjinxter described the scene well; Nephi, the guy you see at the beginning for only 3 second was on his way home, two men who are angry that Nephi's father Lehi was preaching repentance attack Nephi and they were coming at him with knives and Nephi's older brothers Lamen and Lemuel come and stop them, and make them swear not to do it again
