Nov 19, 2008 - the difference between judo and bjj is apparent.if he had trained bjj, instead of merely knowing what the moves were and what they looked like -- he'd actually have the sensitivity to know when to go for them to be able to finish.

Nov 19, 2008 - The Kimura attempt at 3:43 was good set up from side control, but it was crucial for ur right leg to step over his head to get that leverage and maintain good wrist control.. i dont know why you let go.. maybe you were tired? or decided to transition to something.

Nov 19, 2008 - I agree on that, we don't really drill ground techniques fully. Though i know how to execute it, I can't finish nor do I have the fine tuning for the little details. Something i wish i could atleast do with a training partner. But I think for 2 years of judo, my ground game isn't that bad. I'm no black belt.

Nov 19, 2008 - Yeah I haven't ever really done the kimura that much. I usually do it the other way. I realized about using the leg to gain more leverage when it failed. I guess imma drill that.

Nov 19, 2008 - also that final armbar/juji, i went limp because time ran out. You dont hear the ring. But you can see i had the shin across head variation. also if i hadnt been so passive and been mroe active, i would have had the time to finish it. Please give your thoughts on what I should work on(other than everything, specifics plz)
