Tiiggii Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - What do you talking about? Its basically the same as i said-Englishes are German/Germanic descents-i said that exactly as you did.Note:Anglo-Saxons came in Britain there was already rule by Romanized Celtics tribes and Romans them selfs. And those peoples language, (official one) was Latin. And thats that influence in English language, not after Hastings.Same like in Bosnia-Slavics came after Gothics, which was already romanized together with Ilirics and Celtics.

vVogeltjes Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - maybe you should look at some old english texts, they're practically the same as dutch (a west-germanic language)... english is 40% west-germanic and 60% norman-french. england was ruled by the french (normans) for a long time..

E1v1n3 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Most languages in Western Europe comes from Germanic. East europe is Slavisk .

Tiiggii Says:

SechserPackRexPils Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - well, dutch/vlaams and german for example are very similiar, although it is a more old fashioned type of german. when you know the old fashioned new high-german and english and a bit french you will be able to understand most of the dutch language. especially compared to german language the pronounicion of the words is often very similiar eventhough the kind it is written might be a bit confusing for german/dutch tongues...

lunwerg Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - spanish accent sound is better than italian, sometimes, english people think latin languages are every similar, but not it´s. Probably, in the future spanish will reach english, but now it´s dificult. Moreover, latin people are going to be more important en the next years. Everyone will see it.

lunwerg Says:

zwan2 Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - French is really declining (it is a fact) and can be one day it will not exist more, it is sad, because it disturbs the Anglo-Saxon which wants to impose their language on the whole world. The british council and the American and English large companies work together to remove the French-speaking culture slowly, the Inhabitants of Quebec fight against the progressive anglicisation and some French too.

bowlingrulz Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - Why u say french is declining... ?
